Eat The Fat
I have been wanting to write this blog post for a good long while now. I also reread a lot of my old posts and realize I never told anyone what happened with going to nutritional counseling school. I just mentioned it for a few months and then it dropped off, I realize. I will address that now, before talking about one of my favorite things in the world. Yes, you guessed it, FAT. But I’ll come back around to it.
A few events happened simultaneously last summer in 2025- there were people in my life who wanted my health and food advice, and then promptly turned around and threw it in the trash, and I had to watch them get sicker. Others in my life who refused to listen when I tried to tell them that their toxic waste they eat called “margarine” is slowly killing them. Still other people in my life who think I’m wrong despite them having no research on the subject, and others who dare lecture me about my own field because they watched the news and decided the woman with twenty years in healthcare is just confused, because CNN says different. I also got called “anorexic” by a family member who clearly has never seen an anorexic person in their life (I was 5’9 and 140 at the time) and I realized, my level of health and knowledge had made me a social pariah. But, eh, not terribly new for me.
It was at that point that I realized that earning my living slapping cheeseburgers out of people’s hands would not be a field that was right for me. I am sure that many people would happily use the knowledge I could give them, but just like a woman in my past who I tried to give advice to when she came to me for help, if it didn’t work the way they hoped, I would be blamed for the failure, and I didn’t really have it in me to get abused 40 hours per week by people who really don’t want to give up their Pepsi. Besides, we all know I have a mouth, and I’d probably lose that entire practice in week 3 out of impatience with people who sneak Dingdongs at night. Let’s all call a spade a spade, here. Not to mention, I get emotionally invested into people. If I had a revolving nutritional practice in which I heard people’s childhood traumas and horrible eating habits all day, I think it would legitimately kill me. Just a realization I had, and it was an eye opener. Counselors, psychologists, nutritionists and all other medical practitioners, I salute you. I don’t have it in me. This is why I have a blog instead- people can take or leave what I have to say. I have a platform, I’m speaking up about what I know, but I am not invested in people who do- or don’t- implement this wisdom into their own lives. (I know I don’t have many readers, but for those of you who do read this, obviously you think I have something worth saying).
And so, it was a personal decision to drop out of school after a few months, thankful for the information I got. I turned around and found a “regular person” job back in construction estimating, where I spend my days listening to audiobooks and drawing various colored rectangles on blueprints, smiling politely and keeping my mouth shut when anyone discusses getting the latest Covid booster shot, or how they only eat beef once per week “because their doctor says red meat is unhealthy.” At this point, they’ve made their choice, and it’s not worth arguing with them. If someone else wants to believe that 2+2+7, they are welcome to believe so. Live your dreams. If a person is going to be implementing life changes, it is up to THEM to do their own research and realize that most products for sale and all prescription medicines are created with the intent to poison society. They have to decide to fight back and learn what is actually healthy for them, because at the end of the day, they are the ones who hold the fork, not me.
Back to my original topic: Fat.
Wonderful, glorious, amazing fat.
I started a ketogenic diet 2.5 years ago. In that time, I learned how to drastically cut all processed carbs and increase my protein and fat intake. I also learned that perhaps it wasn’t even so much the limiting of ALL carbs that did it, that perhaps all our carbs in America are just heavily poisoned. Stick a pin in that for later. However- do you folks remember my post last year about the American Heart Association and the toxic waste Crisco they said was “heart healthy” for a hefty bribe? Notice how our heart conditions have only worsened since then, and people think it’s a coincidence? I promise you, it isn’t.
There is a misconception in this country that fat makes you fat; that fat clogs your arteries, and that fat is the reason people’s hearts are failing, when in fact it is the opposite. Statins are being prescribed to people to keep their cholesterol levels down, but it is that very lack of cholesterol that is making our hearts and brains fail! What use is it that your “numbers” look better if you have early onset dementia brought about because your brain is literally starving, and your arteries don’t have any padding anymore? If any of you know people on statins, for the love of God, please try to get them off of them, or they may lose their minds by age 60. It is that severe, and doctors are NOT telling people this, because their demonic AMA overlords harp that the patient’s “numbers” need to drop. I promise you, it’s not just the numbers that will drop if you take statins. It’s the patients themselves.
Insane to think that human beings lived on animals and their fats for thousands of years, and only now are we being told that this ancestral diet will kill us? I’m sorry, no. Do you remember that trope about Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, about how he ate five dozen eggs every morning and is “roughly the size of a barge”? I mean, sure, Gaston was a real jerk, but he was in excellent health. Can you imagine a doctor tsktsktsking at him and prescribing him a statin to “get his numbers down”? Absurd. Absolutely mindbogglingly absurd. We should ALL be eating more eggs, people, and what doctors really don’t know is that the human body is ever changing, ever evolving. We were created by God perfectly (which means we don’t need vaccines as babies, of course) and we were created to be adaptable. And part of that adaptation is how the human body uses fuel resources and stores them. This will blow your mind, just as it blew mine to learn.
Imagine if you know you have a very large purchase you want to make- like a really expensive car repair bill. So you sock that money away in savings, knowing that you will need it in the future. If you’re smart, that’s what you do. You save your money little by little with the knowledge that you will have to spend it at a certain time, or your life will be screwed, because if you don’t have the money when you need it, your car dies, you lose your job, you become homeless, etc. It’s survival to stash that money away.
So in three months, you know you need $7,500 for that new transmission. If your hours at work get cut, though, you will end up putting a higher percentage of your total income into that savings account, because you just don’t know if the big money checks will return by the time you have to pay for that bill. But if you get a raise? You will start putting a SMALLER percentage of your total income into the savings account, because you can COUNT ON that larger check being there when it’s time to pay for the transmission. And if you luck into a lottery annuity that pays you out $5,000 per week for life? You ain’t puttin’ NOTHIN’ in savings anymore, because that sweet lottery check will come around again and again and again, and you can count on it. Why bother storing cash up?
And so it is with fat- most people do not know this. The more animal fats we eat, the less fat your body will actually hold onto for a rainy day. I am living proof of this. Most doctors would look at my diet of tons of butter, heavy cream, fatty steaks, full-fat cheeses, and think I had one foot in the grave (because of their Rockefeller brainwashing they paid six figures for). But the proof is in the pudding, friends. I actually lost weight when I started eating a high-fat diet. Why? Because my body became secure that I would always have lots of it coming in, and therefore held onto less of it for a rainy day. When you know that your body is able to adapt to what we put into it, you know what to do to get the results you want. I promise you, I am healthier now than I ever have been in my life. Doctors would say it’s not possible. Doctors ALSO nearly kill Crohns patients who end up curing their disease with a carnivore diet instead, and doctors scratch their heads and prescribe more statins. They can not possibly conceive that all of their schooling has led them to literally poisoning humanity. It’s like the scene in Terminator 2 where that software developer got told that his life’s work would kill 8 billion people. Hard to come to grips with, so most doctors just try not to think about it and buy another Mercedes with the bonus check they got from the statin company.
One of the most horrible abominations the USDA “food demons”* ever did was convince the human population that eating fat made you fat. They put out all manner of fat-free milk, cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc. And people began eating this tasteless slop (remove the fat, remove the nutrients), convinced that doing so would help them lose weight. What actually happened? The consumers starved their brains, making them depressed, making them binge eat, making them hate themselves, and then started over again, week after week, because they don’t want to be fat anymore, but also still trust the FDA “food demons” who are the “experts.” These poor average Joes and Janes decide it’s probably them that’s the problem, or blame genetics, and buy more fat-free cottage cheese and starve themselves some more. People actually live like this.
*And yes, I unapologetically call them “food demons” for a reason. They know what they are doing, and they do it on purpose. The USDA told you that eating 11 servings of poisoned wheat every day was “recommended.” Of course it is, when the literal devil is giving you nutritional advice. They sell breakfast cereal to children that has industrial solvent you can buy at Home Depot in it. They sell dyed packets of Kool Aid that you dump a cup of sugar into, feed it to your children, and then you take your children to the doctor for a Ritalin prescription when the kids don’t sit still. And keep in mind- we pay for all of this. We pay for the poison that is killing us, and then we pay the doctors to make us better, and then we pay for the poisons that we are prescribed to “manage” the condition that the first poison gave us. Round and round and round we go, and not enough people realize that they are in a war. When you don’t know you’re in a war, you become a casualty of this war, and I will NOT go to my grave having said and done nothing. Someone will get some value out of this blog, I hope, and change their lives accordingly.
Anyway.
The reason why we got so sick as a population after Crisco and seed oils started being mass-produced is because our body can’t actually use these factory-made fats as fuel. It’s not natural, and our body is such an intricate system, we’re used to eating actual, real food that our body can process and use without a problem. So when the animal fats decreased, and the fake fats increased, our bodies literally don’t know what to do with it, so it does one of two things- 1, tosses it in the attic with a shrug like Great Grandma’s doily collection (the stubborn weight gain that people can’t seem to shed) or 2, our bodies attack the fake fats as a foreign invader (the rise of autoimmune conditions where the body is attacking itself). Sometimes you get both at the same time, and it’s no wonder that the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter generation is unfortunately the unhealthiest people to ever live. Their minds are depressed, foggy and unclear, they hold anxiety in their bodies, they have a rash of autoimmune diseases, they have terrible memory, their bodies can’t heal, and when they go to the doctor, they ALL get told they need statins, which will make the human body even worse.
My mind these days is a clear, sunny, 72 degree morning with a light breeze. Birds chirp, bumblebees hover nearby in search of flower nectar, and the rays of the sun beam back out of my own eyeballs onto my surroundings. All because I gave soybean oil the forever boot and natural fats and proteins make up 2/3 of my daily diet. I am weightlifting three times per week, I have put on ten pounds of muscle, my focus at work is impeccable, my depression is gone, my anxiety is gone, and I even stopped arguing with my husband (I literally attribute dietary changes to this wonder). Miracles upon miracles abound in my life. I eat a steady diet of steak, bacon, eggs, butter, heavy cream, avocado, coconut oil, tallow, and I have never felt better.
All because I finally fed my brain the fuel it needs to function as God intended for it to.
Get yourself some grass-fed tallow to fry things in. Make homemade butter with heavy cream and a tablespoon of yogurt (I make a pound of butter from scratch every other weekend). Throw away your margarine and anything with cottonseed, rapeseed or soybean oil (and it’s most things these days, even alfredo sauces. Seriously, read your labels) Sautee your Asian dishes with coconut oil, and drink the half and half. Fats and creams taste good for a reason, folks. Heavy fats hit the same pleasure centers in your brain that sweets and chocolates do. Imagine having no nighttime sweets cravings anymore, while in perfect health. Welcome to my life.
This is possible… if you give up your sugars and carbs and embrace your natural fats. I challenge anyone who has stubborn fat they want to lose to go 30 days without bread, crackers, pasta, wheat, rice, sodas and sugars, and start ingesting heavy creams and butters instead. Commit to eating only single-ingredient foods for those 30 days (as in, food that the only ingredient is the food itself). See how you feel after 30 days. It just might surprise you, that you can feel like you are ridiculously indulging and your fat melts off, and your mental health improves at the same time. This is how God designed us, especially us ladies, who have more fat on us than men do. We need those quality fats!
PS- Unsticking the pin on America’s poisoned carbs- A couple of months ago, my husband did some research on Japanese rice. He discovered that Japan (who has one of the highest life expectancies in the world) has been growing perfect, unspoiled rice for a thousand years, and he wondered if I could eat rice if it was of a pure, low-starch variety grown in Japan. He found that there was a brand of rice called Milky Queen, specifically genetically produced because it had a “low amylose” content- as in, the starches in it are extremely gentle and a very low percentage. He then learned that the only way to cook Japanese rice properly is with a “Kamado-San” which is a small, clay pot. You rinse your rice, you soak it, you bring it up to a boil, then take it off the heat- and the heavy clay pot holds the heat in and steams the rice perfectly.
I ate that first bowl of Japanese rice, and it melted into my soul like butter on hot pancakes.
For several days, I braced for the worst (generally categorized for me as mood swings, irritability, insomnia, lethargy, anxiety, etc. Just a general… ick.)
And the “worst” never arrived.
So now I have become the person whose only regular carb is rice directly imported from Japan. And we eat a lot of it. Turns out it wasn’t the carbs I had a problem with. It’s the food poisons that USDA says is “Generally recognized as safe.”
They aren’t safe, folks.
They aren’t safe.
Eat from nature. Eat only single ingredient foods. Make your own sauces. Get over your “meat is murder” mindsets by realizing that if a lion isn’t “sinful” for eating a gazelle, neither am I sinful for eating cows regularly (I do try to buy in bulk from a local butcher called Stewart’s that raises their own cattle without MRNA shots). We are in fact part of the animal kingdom, people, and human beings are omnivores by nature. Your brains need fat and red meat to function properly. Supporting your local farmers and butchers will actually help more animals be raised sustainably and humanely.
And most of all…
