Who the heck is this person, anyway?

Hi there. I’m Holly.

I believe the best music was made in the 1970’s.

I believe tea is superior to coffee in every single way.

I think rats are the most underrated pet a person can have.

I’ve also been through more mud than a 4-wheeler in Kentucky after a hurricane.

Trust me- it can, and does, get better.

I used to live with debilitating mental health problems that limited my life.

Not anymore.

Not since I transformed my health through food medicine, something so few people are talking about.

I’m now happy, healthy, vibrant, peaceful, and can sprint up three flights of stairs easier than some people half my age.

And this is after a traumatic brain injury that should have completely ended me.

I’m on a mission to help people understand food and its connection to their health. I am enrolled in the Functional Nutritional Alliance program to become a Certified Functional Nutritional Counselor, and I will share what I’ve learned every step of the way. My teacher, Andrea Nakayama has built an entire health practice upon healing autoimmune disorders by addressing the three roots of our health- genes, inflammation, and digestion.

Blog posts go up each Sunday evening. Stick around for the post in which I talk about how I broke my nose.

Trust me, you don’t want to miss that story.
